After we receive your manuscript, it will be reviewed by our production specialists and you will receive an estimate of when your book will be completed. Usually books are completed within the Telemachus Press Workflow between 4 and 6 weeks, often times sooner! However, this depends on author changes, release date preferences, deliverables from other vendors the author is working with and well, let’s just say it….”surprises” (which we work really hard at not having).

We will first upload to Smashwords. After the files have been accepted, the book is immediately available for sale. The individual Smashwords distribution channel for other eBooks (iPad, Nook, Sony, etc. can be as much as 2 or 3 weeks). We will put this account in your name and you will be able to monitor its progress.

Amazon: We upload directly to Amazon’s KDP Service and after the first upload has occurred, it takes 3 to 5 days for Amazon to create the page. After your page has been created, changes to the book usually take 24 hours. We will put this account in your name and you will be able to monitor its progress.

After the proof has been approved by Telemachus Press, You will be able to immediately purchase books at direct cost for book signings, marketing, etc. However, for your book to be fully available throughout Ingram’s Distribution Channel, both domestic and international, it will be 8-12 weeks.
